What is wrong with the United States?

When you read and listen to the various media establishments discussing our current economic realities, it becomes clear. No one really seems to know what the answers are, however, everyone should know that to solve our problems, we need more jobs and we need to fix the housing situation. If people don't have jobs, they won't have enough money to pay for their mortgages. It's that easy and I know 99.9% of the people who follow this blog know that. Now here comes the challenge. I am asking you for your input. If you were President, what would you do to create more long term employment and how would you fix the housing crisis? You have to remember, even if we have jobs. People are not going to be paying on mortgages that are twice as much as the value of their homes. So, how do we fix this? I want to hear from you. Our country is full of complainers. All we do is complain about how everyone is screwing things up in Government, but those same folks never offer any advice. So now you have the opportunity to prove that you are more than a complainer. You are a leader. Lead now or forever withhold your judgement.

  1. To fix housing. The banks need to hire more employee's to help with the massive amounts of information that is needed from the people who are defaulting on their homes. Jobs need to be created in order to pay for those homes. We can begin creating new jobs all over America. We can rebuild our infrastructure through the use of bonds.
