Egyptian Gas Pipeline To Israel Attacked.

Armed security guards were attacked and restrained while the attackers planted the explosives at the Bir el Abd pipeline station. The bombs were activated by gunfire. No one was seriously wounded. A timetable was not given on when gas will be restored. Many Egyptians, some with ties to various groups, are against supplying Israel with gas, according to former military officials. Jordan also receives gas through this pipeline as well. Both Jordan and Israel are paying reduced prices for the gas and that could be one of the primary reasons why this particular gas line has been attacked for the third time in six months.
